DESIGNING WOMEN Returns to the Middle Peninsula

Event: DESIGNING WOMEN

Where: The organizers will have an exhibition at the beautiful Christchurch School Campus, near Saluda in Middlesex County
Summary: A day long extravaganza with workshops, demonstrations, a fashion show, gourmet lunch, keynote speech by one of the world’s top interior designers, and boutique shopping in a field house full of vendors. Topics and vendors represent gardening, interior design, faux painting, flower arranging (church and home), cosmetics, fashion, preservation, stain glass, jewelry, and more.

The Garden Club of the Middle Peninsula will transform the beautiful campus of Christchurch School in Middlesex County into an exhibition of demonstrations, lectures, exhibits, and shopping for anyone who loves fashion, their home, flowers, gardening, and good food.

The day, unique to the area, will include a fashion show and gourmet lunch. As a special treat, the Garden Club is bringing in Suzanne Tucker, of San Francisco, as the keynote speaker. Architectural Digest has named her one of the “Top Interior Designers of the World.”

There will be demonstrations in flower arranging for the home and church by women who have studied at the National Cathedral Altar Guild, preservation of linens, silver and furniture by staff of the Historic Wilton House in Richmond, cosmetics, interior decorating, gardening, women’s health and more. One building is completely booked with a large variety of vendors – for your house and garden; your fashion, clothing, and jewelry needs, and more.

Event is nonprofit fundraiser by the Garden Club of the Middle Peninsula to support and fund conservation, preservation, and beautification in the Middle Peninsula as well Nature Camp, Teachers on the Bay Scholarships, and other special projects by citizens and club members that benefit the community.
